Ham Radio

My first radio was given to me by my brother, KL7EF. The FT 101-EE radio in the picture is the one he gave me. I talked around the world with it. I gave it back to him and bought a nearly new ICOM 720A. My antenna is the driven element of my A3-S beam installed in the attic of my townhouse.

I am not an avid hamradio operator. I belong to two local clubs and only go to a few meetings each year. I do participate in "Field Day" every year with the KOOLAU Amateur Radio Club. This year I used my palmtop computer to log all of our contacts.

Please send me mail telling me what you think about this page and how I might improve it.
